Happy Meal's "Adopt Me" Mobile Game
3D Animation and Motion Design
 - Maya / Blender / Cinema 4D / Photoshop / After Effects / Playcanvas
For this program, I was responsible for leading 3D character art, including character modeling, texturing, rigging, and animation! I also created all the potion models, as well as all the animations of the characters taking different potions that give them different powers. Matt Jimenez, one of the 3D artists, led level design for this program.
Below are the video demos showcasing the game, where you pick an Adopt Me character, take a potion, and then navigate through the levels to avoid the obstacles!

This is how the levels look. One of the challenges of the program is to keep the interactable obstacles and background assets apart visually. We eventually created a fog so the background assets looks distanced and have less contrast.

These are the 5 characters that I made for the program. The polycounts for them are between 2800 and 4800 tris. In order to reduce the quantity of textures/materials in the game build, I created one major texture atlas for them, and only customized the more complex textures when needed, such as the giraffe's body and the turtle's wings. Below are the character model turnaround, flying up, and gliding down animations.
